The Sage Group’s client, an Australian-based software company, is in search of a Marketing Project Manager. The Events, Community & Learning, Evangelism, and Field Marketing Shared Services and Operational Excellence team’s mission is to serve as the catalyst, trusted partner, and strategic enabler that drives growth and operational excellence through continuous improvement and fostering of innovation, scalability, and consistency. Our global experience portfolio supports this mission and serves as a platform for accelerating brand awareness and organizational objectives, while driving marketing and sales strategies through proprietary events, Community-led meetups, trade show participation, webinars, customer workshops, and more!


As the client’s experiential programs expand, so must our team to have sufficient resources to support the increased volume of events and experiences we support. That’s where you come in! We’re looking for a Marketing Project Manager to join our Shared Services and Operational Excellence team to keep work moving forward. In this role, your focus will be in metrics and reporting; you must have the ability to demonstrate superior collaboration and project management skills, and be an incredibly organized, conscientious multitasker with excellent communication skills. You will support our team with tracking, reporting, and analysis. To be impactful in this role, you must be a strategic thinker with a high level of attention to detail and a passion for measuring results and impact - and able to tell the story with context. Ability to travel onsite to events, with some weekend travel, may be required.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scrubbing data and pulling key metrics for various reports
  • Collaborate with data analysts to synthesize data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improving customer experiences
  • Build and deploy complex surveys for capturing event feedback and customer insights
  • Compile and organize data gathered from surveys and present the results to program leads
  • Assist with the development and distribution of company-wide announcements
  • Assist with preparing comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that highlight key insights, significant business impact, and actionable recommendations
  • Proofread and provide suggestions for improving various documents including but not limited to checklists, how-to guides, and post event reports
  • Prepare presentations that help translate ideas and data into insights and action


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ work experience in related roles in Program/Project Management, marketing background highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, business, data science, or related field
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient in data tools such as Google Sheets/Excel, Qualtrics, and Tableau
  • Well-versed in event-specific metrics
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter mindset (you aren’t afraid to work autonomously!)
  • Positive attitude and mindfulness to maintain our collaborative and optimistic culture
  • Open mind and willingness to learn new software and new ways of working
  • Ability to manage your workload and meet deadlines
  • Proactive approach and willingness to take initiative
  • Humble demeanor with a growth-mindset
