Job Description

The US Immunology Patient Value (US iPVU) Speaker Bureau Specialist supports speaker engagement, primarily all educational speaker programs supporting the US iPVU portfolio. This role serves as support across the portfolio to ensure consistent execution of the bureau and related components.

Management and accountability of these programs includes budget ownership, vendor management, logistical oversight, identifying areas for program optimization, and working with the brand marketing teams, Therapeutic Liaison Leads, Medical, and Field sales team to drive the content and successful execution of the programs.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversees execution of all HCP and patient in-person and virtual programming
  • Day-to-day management of all tasks performed by external agency partner pertaining to speaker bureau events, including sourcing, contracting and coordinating with venues to host speaker bureaus.
  • Ensure approved content slide decks, program invitations, moderator guides, etc., are received from either the content agency or P2P lead & are ready-for use
  • Support annual Speaker Contracting process with a final speaker list derived from the speaker selection plan provided by Medical/P2P Lead/TLL stakeholders
  • Support speaker training needs, including Ensure Training Verification Forms TVFs) are routed following speaker training
  • Support SOW approval process
  • Monitor speaker utilization
  • Manage speaker contract modifications
  • Manage speakers in portal (removals and additions)
  • Partner with TLL Team in Speaker Bureau Management
  • Manage ad hoc and quarterly roster changes
  • Manage speaker individual preferences in portal
  • Ensures all Compliance reporting requirements are met
  • Support National Product Theaters and Advisory Board HCP contracts and payments, as applicable


Position Qualification / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 – 4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience; preferably within peer-to-peer marketing
  • Ability to compare, contrast and quality check work and keen attention to detail. Can present numerical data orally and in writing or through graphics.
  • Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining an excellent relationship with key external and internal stakeholders
  • Experience developing interpersonal, customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to problem solve, make decisions and escalate decisions as needed
  • Appreciation for operating in a highly regulated environment with defined work instructions and Compliance requirements
  • Experience operating in a role required exceptional project management and a detailed oriented approach
  • Occasional travel (5 – 10%) to meet with speakers and provide onsite logistics is required. This may include weekend and evening hours.
