As a Marketing Manager at Too Lost, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth, increasing brand visibility, and engaging our target audience through various marketing channels. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote our services, enhance customer acquisition and retention, and ultimately contribute to the company's overall success. This role can be based in New York or Los Angeles.


Responsibilities


Growth Marketing

  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to drive user acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Identify growth opportunities and execute campaigns to expand our customer base.
  • Analyze key metrics and performance data to optimize marketing efforts and maximize ROI.

  • Email Campaigns

    • Create and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote new releases, and drive engagement.
    • Segment email lists and tailor content to specific audience segments for improved targeting and personalization.
    • Monitor email deliverability, open rates, and click-through rates to optimize campaign performance.


    SEO Optimization

    • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify relevant topics and opportunities for organic search visibility.
    • Optimize website content, metadata, and other elements to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
    • Stay updated on SEO best practices and algorithm changes to maintain competitive advantage.


    Advertising

    • Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other relevant channels.
    • Monitor campaign performance, adjust targeting and bidding strategies, and optimize ad creatives to achieve campaign objectives.
    • Manage advertising budgets effectively to maximize ROI and reach marketing goals.


    Social Media

    • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
    • Create compelling content for social media platforms, including posts, stories, and multimedia assets.
    • Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and engage with followers to build community and foster relationships.

  • Public Relations Support

    • Assist in the development and execution of public relations initiatives to generate positive media coverage and enhance brand reputation.
    • Draft press releases, media pitches, and other communications materials to convey key messages and announcements.
    • Cultivate relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders to amplify our brand presence.


    Additional Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, A&R, and Label Services support, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
    • Take ownership of special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior leadership, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience in marketing roles with a focus on digital marketing, growth marketing, or related disciplines.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including email marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, and online advertising.
    • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, etc.) and ability to interpret data to drive insights and decision-making.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create compelling content and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Passion for music and knowledge of the music industry landscape is preferred.
