Marketing Manager

Compensation Range: $35-$50/hr
Role Overview:
The Marketing Manager III will drive marketing programs to build the brand awareness and adoption of the client's AI developer programs, focusing on first-party event programs. This role involves planning and executing global competition program campaigns, both digital and in-person. The position requires managing event execution, creating marketing content, and compiling performance metrics to improve campaigns.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Develop marketing strategies to enhance the client's AI developer programs brand.
- Plan and execute global competition program campaigns, including digital and in-person events for the DeepRacer League.
- Conceptualize and approve collateral for large-scale in-person event activations.
- Collaborate with designers and product marketing managers to create marketing content for event websites.
- Project manage the execution of multi-day competitions, including sourcing and training 100+ volunteer staff, and coordinating with event and competition vendors.
- Analyze and present performance metrics to identify opportunities for campaign improvement.
- Work cross-functionally to define, manage, and prioritize tasks.
Must-Have Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years, preferably 5 years, of experience in event planning and project management.
- High self-direction and event management skills with experience handling multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience in budget management, competition management, and creative marketing campaigns.
- Copywriting skills and the ability to document processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI or technology.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Airtable (Tableau).
- Experience in experiential event production and customer communication.
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrates strong leadership principles, attention to detail, and a passion for event management.
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills.
- Experienced in managing events with budgets ranging from $500,000 to $5 million.
- Proficient in Excel and macro functions.
- Hands-on approach with a focus on execution rather than strategic oversight.
