Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Director of Marketing to spearhead our content creation, social media, website updates, mail campaigns and support our demand generation efforts with our outsourced ABM firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing compelling content and implementing effective marketing campaigns that drive business development. With a deep understanding of digital marketing tools like Mailchimp, SquareSpace, Pipedrive and Hubspot you will play a key role in enhancing our marketing efforts to reach and engage our target audience, ultimately driving growth for our firm. A true passion for our clients and how we serve them is a must for this position!
Responsibilities:
Execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy that includes blog posts, case studies, white papers, newsletters, and social media content to highlight our expertise and services
Manage our content calendar and proactively prepare for upcoming events
Coordinate and help manage in-person and online events, including promotion, etc
Manage email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, focusing on lead generation and nurturing to drive conversions
Support the targeted outreach and demand generation programs with the utilization of tools such as Apollo.is based on campaign performance data
Collaborate with the sales and executive teams to create marketing materials and content that effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients
Drive growth in our data visualization solution, Insights by Ascent CFO, through thought leadership and targeted initiatives to produce scale
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, leveraging insights to optimize future strategies
Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities, recommending adjustments to our marketing approach accordingly
Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers as needed to support content creation and marketing initiatives
Manage the Squarespace Website and update as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
4+ years of experience in a marketing role, with a strong emphasis on content creation and demand generation
Proficient in using digital marketing tools like Mailchimp, Apollo.io, Squarespace, Pipedrive, HubSpot and Google Analytics
Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with our target audience
Strong analytical skills, with experience in measuring and optimizing campaign performance
Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into effective marketing strategies
Knowledge of the financial and professional services industries, particularly in Fractional CFO services, is a plus
Prior experience scaling a service/product launch a plus

Salary:
$75,000-$80,000/year + bonus
We are also open to consider qualified candidates interested in a 32 hour work week.
