Marketing Intern (Temporary)

Beauty Industry Group, a leader in professional and DIY hair extensions, is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern for Donna Bella Hair. Donna Bella Hair is dedicated to reimagining beauty as an inclusive and uplifting experience, offering premium hair extensions and products that cater to diverse needs and lifestyles.

We are seeking a Marketing Intern to enhance our social media presence, develop engaging content, manage reporting and analytics, and support various marketing initiatives and strategies beyond social media as required by business needs. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of marketing.

Duration: July 15th- Nov 30th

Pay: $18-20/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm MST with a max of up to 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Content Management: Manage, schedule, and publish content across our social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok).
• Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to platform comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally on behalf of the brand.
• Campaign Support: Assist in planning and executing brand campaigns and strategies related to social media, PR, and brand initiatives.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze and report on social media metrics and performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure brand consistency and alignment with company goals in all execution and strategy.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
• Brand Events: Participate in photoshoots as needed to create social media and behind-the-scenes (BTS) content, supporting overall set needs.
• Content Creation: Self-create and edit content on an as-needed basis, leveraging junior designer resources and tools.
• PR and Influencer Support: Assist in PR or influencer-related tasks as needed or assigned.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the team.
  
  

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their functionalities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging and original content.
• Expert in leveraging social media tools and resources (e.g., Dash Hudson, Canva).
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in analyzing, reporting, and sharing performance metrics.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Prior experience in social media management or marketing is a plus.
