Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine is a physician-led specialty healthcare organization whose core business is providing evidence-based, individualized treatment services for chronic pelvic pain patients. Approximately 15-25% of men and women suffer from pelvic discomfort. In the US chronic pelvic pain affects 28 million women and is projected to grow to 43.6 million by 2050 according to the NICHD.

Persistent pelvic pain is often overlooked, untreated, and misguided. At PRM, our mission is to decrease the time patients are suffering from pelvic pain symptoms. Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine has positioned itself at the center of the pelvic pain ecosystem. We are nationally recognized experts dedicated to reducing the number of people suffering from this affliction. Our unique in-office, ultrasound-guided approach to the pelvis is the first of its kind in the country. Our team focuses on diagnosing and treating chronic pelvic pain in women and men with a procedure that is safe, effective, and more comfortable than what has been offered by pelvic pain providers in the past.

JOB TITLE: Marketing Intern

LOCATION: Remote

DEPARTMENT: Marketing

SALARY $15/hr. (Up to 15 hours per week)

STRUCTURE: Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9AM -5PM. This position is offered part-time. The employee will be eligible to work up to 15 hours per week on any variation of days as the tasks will be time-bound to completion. Hours can be worked in 2-days or across multiple, for example. Employee will also be eligible, based on performance, to remain through the duration of the school year.

Role Overview

The PRM Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Intern to support its marketing team and to help us continue our brand nationwide and raise awareness of women’s pelvic health, female and male pelvic pain, and endometriosis. Currently in 14 offices nationwide, PRM’s marketing strategy is all about education, validation, and meeting the patients where they are.

As a member of the PRM Marketing Team, you will be integral in providing support and collaboration for the national brand and regional marketing strategy. Your role supports the marketing team’s focus on revenue generation for PRM. Your focus is to assist in marketing campaigns and digital activities that significantly contribute to marketing pipeline goals.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong desire to work in B2C marketing, with an emphasis on and passion for healthcare marketing and raising awareness for a patient population that has been silenced and silent.

This position is centered around content creation and community and social media management. This opportunity provides a unique experience for the right candidate to watch their content create a live impact throughout our organization and the women’s health and endometriosis space.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / WHAT YOU’LL DO + LEARN:

  • Assist the marketing team in advising on and contributing to digital, advertising, and marketing strategies.
  • Assist with creative marketing campaigns, incorporating all appropriate communication channels, which may include paid advertising, email, web, newsletters, video, podcasts, social media, and other publications.
  • Be the voice for Worthy Warrior, PRM’s new Community (www.worthywarrior.com) launching on July 10. You’ll be on the ground as the brand launches and the community and forum takes off.
  • Assist with social/content strategy and creation in collaboration with marketing team. Identify storytelling opportunities in paid and owned channels while working closely with the marketing team.
  • Assist content marketing and basic SEO/PPC
  • Research trends and user consumption, and use findings to optimize marketing strategy
  • Participate in brainstorming, strategy planning and execution for marketing initiatives including digital marketing, print campaigns, special projects etc.

Requirements

SKILLS YOU MIGHT HAVE

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or a relevant field
  • Desire to be working in B2C marketing or social media
  • Understanding of B2C digital marketing practices such as SEO, SEM, SMO, and PPC
  • Experience writing content for social media and blogs (experience with social media tools is a plus)
  • Experience with social platforms: GMB, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok
  • A desire to learn the basics of B2C digital marketing practices such as SEO, SEM, SMO, and PPC
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML/web publishing/WordPress is a plus – but we will teach you!
  • Working knowledge of marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Canva, MailChimp and more) is a plus
  • Basic photo and video editing skills (Canva is ok!) is preferred
  • A passion for women’s health, helping others, and building a brand
