Marketing Intern

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic individual from UCLA to intern with our Marketing Team. This role is ideal for an outgoing and curious person, who is interested in joining a fast moving team that loves experimenting and failing forward!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns to create awareness and drive engagement among the student community on and off-campus.
• Organize and oversee monthly campus events from inception to completion, including budget management, team coordination, and logistics.
• Develop and implement promotional strategies tailored to campus events to attract and engage students effectively.
• Act as a liaison between Community Leaders and the team to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with the Product Team in monthly meetings to brainstorm ideas, concept test new initiatives, and provide valuable insights.
• Gather and analyze feedback through surveys and other channels to inform future marketing strategies and improve event effectiveness.
• Lead the planning and execution of monthly city events, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution and maximum impact.
  
  

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong passion for marketing and event management, with a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
• Well versed with existing Social Media platforms like Reddit, Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter, BeReal, Snapchat, Discord etc. Bonus for having a strong presence as a creator in any of these platforms.
• Proficiency in Google Suite - docs, slides and sheets
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Prior experience in event planning, campus ambassador programs, or related fields is a plus.
