Position Overview

Viqtory is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Director for Demand & Lead Generation to drive audience (transitioning military, veterans and military spouses) engagement, acquisition, registration, and retention. Experience working in digital product management, media, marketing and advertising agencies is ideal. Military background is a plus. Love of the military community is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Primary KPI(s):

  • # of and CPL of Franchise Coach leads for our Vetrepreneur Franchise Coaching brand. Franchise Coach leads are defined as a franchise candidate who shows up for a Discovery Call with a Coach and meets minimum financial qualifications.
  • # of and CPL of Military Friendly Registered Users (RUs) who create an account on our Military Friendly website.


Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives audience growth (acquisition, registration, engagement and retention).

Marketing Sources: Develop and optimize marketing sources to include owned, shared, earned and paid channels relying primarily around organic sources such as SEO, webinars and content marketing, email marketing, social, referral programs, influencer programs and affiliate marketing and testing with a small amount of paid.

Data Management. You will be expected to use statistical analysis with first and third party data using tools such as ML and AI to optimize efficiency of marketing campaigns..

Audience Acquisition: Drive leads in the form of veterans who are using our products and services to find civilian jobs, college and franchise opportunities. Ensure the consistent and effective presentation of Viqtory’s brands (Military Friendly, Vetrepreneur, Military Spouse and G.I. Jobs) across all channels. Adhere to brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity for consistency and to strengthen brand equity.

Content Strategy: Develop and manage our 5 in 1 content strategy that produces high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including website, social media, email marketing, and thought leadership pieces, using AI tools to augment effectiveness.

Data Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights to measure marketing performance and ROI. Implement tools and processes to track key performance indicators and adjust marketing strategies accordingly

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and consistency across all customer touchpoints.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a marketing team, fostering collaboration and innovation. Set clear performance expectations and manage to those expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, weekly 1:1s, and provide growth opportunities for team members. Currently you will have have about 4-5 direct reports. You will also participate in senior leadership Level 10 meetings as per EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Proven experience as a performance marketing leader with a minimum of three years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of current marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and marketing analytics tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Reports To: Chief Commercial Officer or CEO

Location: Moon Township, PA (suburb of Pittsburgh). Hybrid (approximately 2-3 days per week in the office). Will consider a non-Pittsburgh based person fully remote for the right candidate.

Travel: Very little, perhaps 1-2 times per year for a day or two.
