What You’ll Be Doing:


In this role you’ll develop and manage a team of marketing professionals focused on initiatives to reinforce the connection of our brand with our core audience, provide differentiation in the marketplace and maximize the impact of our core and new products. You’ll provide leadership and strategic direction on creative content development, vendor management, media, PR, visual solutions/product packaging, budgeting and catalog development and execution.

  • Partnering with the VP of Marketing & Product Development to develop the overall vision for Leupold & Stevens’ brand image.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of marketing professionals as they develop creative concepts that deliver Leupold & Stevens’ brand image and identity across all consumer channels.
  • Overseeing the development of branded content across our company’s website and numerous social media channels, including the development of social media content and engagement campaigns for all digital and social media channels.
  • Leading the development and production of visual solutions and design concepts related to advertising, digital content, packaging, displays, logos, and other creative materials.
  • Leading the development and implementation of public relations efforts, marketing partnership development and influencer relations/communication.
  • Advising Product Development Team and Product Line Managers on best methods for marketing and communicating new product features and benefits in catalogs, print, online and at retail, and to ensure brand message consistency.
  • Monitoring schedules and deliverables from internal resources, agencies, photographers, copywriters, and other outside vendors.
  • Developing and tracking metrics and success criteria for marketing activities.
  • Leading, motivating, and developing Marketing team members.


Skills & Experience You’ll Need:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, journalism, communications or a related field and 10-15+ years progressive experience in the marketing function of a company with a global, multi-channel sales environment. Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Successful track record of developing and implementing creative content and branding strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives.
  • Knowledge of shooting sports, optical products, firearms applications highly desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing concepts and principles.
  • Significant experience with digital, print, and social media content development, online content creation, CMS, and SEO principles and techniques.
  • High level of creativity. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership, decision making, problem solving and organizational skills. Ability to provide leadership at both the strategic and operational levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Executive Team and external partners to create a result driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage a team and work collaboratively across functions to achieve outcomes that support business objectives.
