This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for within the States of Alaska, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Employees located within 50 miles of a BHN office will be considered a “Hybrid” employee and are required to come into the office 2 days per week based on office schedule.

Overview:

We’re looking for a super talented and passionate content specialist to bring to life the Giftcards.com brand on our site and across all of our marketing channels. In this role, you will use your creative chops for marketing design, content creation, and copywriting. You will play a crucial role in developing engaging and compelling content that resonates with our target audience and drives traffic to our site while growing brand awareness, engagement, conversion, and retention.

Responsibilities:


Primary Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy – Develop and execute a comprehensive and holistic content strategy aligned with brand objectives and target audience.
  • Content Creation – Produce high quality graphics and designs, visually appealing and relevant content across various platforms including website, social media, blogs, e-mail, and display. Content types include graphics, blogs, videos, infographics, social media posts, videos, and more.
  • Content Management – Manage content library, content calendar, and content pipeline. Ensure content goes live on schedule, pushing production as necessary and delivering finished assets in the various sizes and formats required for the different platforms/media partners.
  • Agency Management: Collaborate with external marketing agencies, freelancers, and vendors to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives, monitor their performance, and maintain effective working relationships. Responsibilities include creative brief production as well as day to day management of working relationships.
  • SEO Optimization – Work hand in hand with SEO Strategist to ensure all content, regardless of type, is optimized to improve visibility and drive organic traffic to D2C platform.
  • Engagement – Foster a strong connection with our target audience by creating content that resonates with their interests, needs and preferences. Monitor engagement metrics and adjust content strategies as needed to maximize engagement and conversion.
  • Brand Consistency – Ensure brand consistency across all content channels. You’re our brand’s #1 fan ensuring that all messaging, tone and visual elements are in line with brand.
  • Collaboration – Work closely with internal cross functional teams (marketing, business, product, design), and external agencies to align content initiatives with overall business goals and marketing campaigns.
  • Performance Analysis – Track and analyze content performance metrics (CTR, engagement, view through rates, completion rates, etc.) using relevant tools and platforms (GA 4, Adobe). Use data insights to optimize content strategies and improve conversion/effectiveness.

  • You have a Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field and/or equivalent professional experience.
  • You’re a creative rock star with relevant experience in content creation and management, preferably in a direct to consumer or e-commerce environment.
  • You’re a storyteller at heart and your creativity shines not only in your visual portfolio but also in your writing and editing skills. You’re keen on details and pay critical attention to the little things like spelling and grammar.
  • You love to think outside the box and are always looking for ways to use content to differentiate the brand and to innovate the way we connect with consumers.
  • You have demonstrated success in generating engaging content including strong performance with brand awareness, CTR, quality engagement rates, view through rates, completion rates, etc.
  • You have a strong understanding and experience with the Adobe Creative Suite of Products (Audience Manager, Customer Journey Analytics, Experience Manager, Journey Optimizer). Experience with Adobe is REQUIRED.
  • You’ve managed agencies in your past and have experience briefing agencies and managing creative deliverables from them in a timely manner.
  • You have an eye for trends and constantly stay on top of emerging best practices and consumer trends. You’re also flexible and adaptable knowing the content landscape is ever evolving.
  • You know the web and mobile app space – this isn’t your first rodeo!
  • You’re super organized and have exceptional oral and written communications skills.
  • You thrive in a team environment and can communicate/sell your creative vision to both internal and external teams.
  • You’re constantly looking at the category, competition and adjacent categories to draw inspiration for your creative content! Your goal is to create content that is unique and differentiated from the rest!
  • You’re a pro with FIGMA & Photoshop and have experience with AI creative tools
  • Knowledge of gift card regulations and compliance is a plus.
