What You'll Do

The Marketing Associate at Lake Trust will play a critical part in the smooth operation of the Marketing, Brand + Innovation (MB+I) department and the attainment of its goals. Day to day, the Marketing Associate will help to create and/or coordinate content, monitor and track results, build relationships and otherwise support the implementation of marketing strategies in addition to having the primary role of monitoring, listening and responding to conversations about our brand on social media. Often, this role will act as the intermediary between MB+I and other teams within the organization.

The Lake Trust MB+I team is driven to maximize the credit union’s growth and brand equity towards our vision of A World in Which Everyone Thrives. The team is also passionate about Lake Trust’s purpose and desire to further its relationship with its members and communications. The Marketing Associate will utilize their desire to be a team player along with their organizational skills and detail orientation to help the team meet its project deadlines and support the organization’s goals.

  • Monitor social media channels via a social media management tool and engage with users as appropriate by responding to comments and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the social media schedule and publishing.
  • Assist in producing/updating social media reporting, including analyzing posts for effectiveness, in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Strategist.
  • Schedule and post content across multiple digital platforms, including email, mobile, website, digital signage, online banking, knowledge base and employee intranet, etc.
  • Use templated tools to assist in modifying web pages and emails.


What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related field.
  • 2 years of marketing experience or equivalent
  • Experience in monitoring social communities and engaging with users across major channels,
  • including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
