As the Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for working alongside the Marketing Director to assist with content creation, designing and maintaining websites, executing campaigns, organizing events, and various assigned projects. The Marketing Department is responsible for all marketing materials that relate to the company along with the self-storage facilities and manufactured housing communities we own. This is a full-time position with the expectation of working in an office. This is not a remote position.
General Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Design and maintain websites for all properties and companies i.e. Wix and Wordpress
Obtain and update domains through GoDaddy
Create and maintain social media for all properties and companies
Optimize SEO and Google Indexing for all websites, Google My Business and local listing citations, etc.
Create content such as business cards, logos, signage, digital ads, presentations, video, etc. Graphic design experience is preferred
Run and monitor digital ad campaigns through Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, and other applicable platforms
Coordinate with third party services/vendors for any outsourced marketing materials such as photography, videography, traditional marketing, etc.
Assist and coordinate ownership of domains, websites, social media, Google My Business listing, etc. during the transition of a property being sold or purchased
Help assist and coordinate in-person events locally and nationally
Review and evaluate different markets and applicable industries for latest updates to improve and implement practices and processes
Identify problems through analytical review and team discussions
Track all current, ongoing, and future projects through task manager platform, Trello, and communicate updates on a daily/weekly basis to Marketing Director
Minimum Qualification
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
Efficient in working with different website platforms such as Wix and Wordpress, and having knowledge of HTL, JavaScript, CSS, and other programing applications
Working knowledge of current marketing trends
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Ability to effectively communicate and work with department, management, and corporate offices
Ability to reason through difficult situations
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Willing to work in a fast paced environment
Must be prepared to respond and work in out of office hours, event, and emergencies, if needed
Willing to work in an office. Must be local to Las Vegas, NV. This position is not remote.
