Description

  • Collaborate with the DOSM and EOS corporate team to develop marketing strategies to enhance and build business at the resort
  • Assist with creative assets including traditional ads, digital ads and photoshoots – brand ambassador
  • Website management, maintenance and upkeep
  • Social media management for Wequassett Resort and Golf Club. Reflecting the hotel’s brand, speaking to target audiences, and work towards KPIs
  • Coordinate with internal teams to understand priorities (sales, ecommerce, PR, operations) in order to effectively communicate them to social media audiences
  • Translate marketing initiatives into social and email-friendly campaigns, managing content production from concept to execution in conjunction with DOSM.
  • Directly manage the upkeep of multiple social media channels and editorial calendars, ensuring a regular publishing cadence, well-curated visuals, and alignment with strategy
  • Oversee Community Management on all social platforms and manage interactions with the public; communicating with followers, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Engage with relevant third-party content, including reposting photos and responding to guest questions and concerns
  • Stay abreast of social media changes, competitor performance, and industry trends
  • Interface with agencies including PR and Digital Marketing ensuring goals are met
  • Learn and utilize multiple platforms to create and manage content, including WordPress, and Revinate
  • Vet influencers with PR team and coordinate social media partnership opportunities to advance brand reputation and amplification
  • Write digital marketing content as needed for non-social applications (e.g. editorial/blog pieces, website, marketing collateral)
  • Support Marketing Team as a whole during property events and promotional weekends
  • Complete month-end reporting for social media channels as requested by corporate team

Skills & Qualifications

  • The ability to use social media to maintain or build a brand is necessary to be a Social Media Manager.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this occupation.
  • Artistry and photography
  • Computer skills, skills in using social media platforms and skills in using tools that analyze social media platforms are requirements for this position.
