Collaborate with the DOSM and EOS corporate team to develop marketing strategies to enhance and build business at the resort
Assist with creative assets including traditional ads, digital ads and photoshoots – brand ambassador
Website management, maintenance and upkeep
Social media management for Wequassett Resort and Golf Club. Reflecting the hotel’s brand, speaking to target audiences, and work towards KPIs
Coordinate with internal teams to understand priorities (sales, ecommerce, PR, operations) in order to effectively communicate them to social media audiences
Translate marketing initiatives into social and email-friendly campaigns, managing content production from concept to execution in conjunction with DOSM.
Directly manage the upkeep of multiple social media channels and editorial calendars, ensuring a regular publishing cadence, well-curated visuals, and alignment with strategy
Oversee Community Management on all social platforms and manage interactions with the public; communicating with followers, responding to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
Engage with relevant third-party content, including reposting photos and responding to guest questions and concerns
Stay abreast of social media changes, competitor performance, and industry trends
Interface with agencies including PR and Digital Marketing ensuring goals are met
Learn and utilize multiple platforms to create and manage content, including WordPress, and Revinate
Vet influencers with PR team and coordinate social media partnership opportunities to advance brand reputation and amplification
Write digital marketing content as needed for non-social applications (e.g. editorial/blog pieces, website, marketing collateral)
Support Marketing Team as a whole during property events and promotional weekends
Complete month-end reporting for social media channels as requested by corporate team
Skills & Qualifications
The ability to use social media to maintain or build a brand is necessary to be a Social Media Manager.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this occupation.
Artistry and photography
Computer skills, skills in using social media platforms and skills in using tools that analyze social media platforms are requirements for this position.
