Market Research Operations PM + Analyst


Location: Remote USA (Willing to work in PST timings)


C5i’s tech client’s Research Operations & Programs team is looking for a Program Manager to provide project management and analytics support for their Premium and Consumer businesses. This full-time role with C5i will draw on market research experience and SQL expertise to assess the feasibility of potential surveys and manage the interplay of concurrent survey research initiatives and platform data. The program manager will execute multiple complex, large-scale surveys of client members each month, including pulling targeted sample, ensuring the questionnaire is programmed correctly, inviting members to participate, managing quotas, and preparing a clean, well-structured final dataset. This position requires proactive communication and collaboration with market research managers and team leadership to design, execute and analyze research data, adding value to existing research initiatives via behavioral and demographic data analyses from first-party data sources. This person will demonstrate an intermediate understanding of key research skills (e.g., questionnaire design, sampling, data structures), actively create and participate in team-wide initiatives and implement improvements that increase the efficiency of our survey operations and project management. Manage and prioritize multiple projects and maintain necessary controls and procedures to ensure data accuracy, business functionality and compliance with privacy and security policies.


Responsibilities:


  • Design and execute multiple surveys of client members each month, including pulling targeted sample, ensuring that the questionnaire is programmed correctly, inviting members to participate, managing quotas and preparing a clean, well-structured final dataset
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and maintain necessary controls and procedures to ensure data accuracy, business functionality and compliance with privacy and security policies
  • Develop expertise in the data sources related to assigned business unit
  • Consistently and proactively communicate progress, milestones and challenges to the survey stakeholders
  • Prepare and present data driven stories underpinned by primary research and integrated first-party analytics
  • Identify new methods for optimizing and improving existing projects and analyses to make them less time-consuming to deliver
  • Actively participate in team-wide initiatives, lead trainings for Research Associates and establish expertise by weighing in on key decisions


Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, Marketing, Communications, Statistics or a related field
  • 3+ years of survey market research or analytics experience
  • 2+ years of experience in research operations or similar operational role


Preferred Qualifications


  • Clear track record of academic and professional excellence and progress.
  • Familiarity with multiple research methodologies including segmentation, NPS, and conjoint.
  • Familiarity with advanced statistical methods.
  • Technical & programming skills including SQL, XML and/or HTML.
  • Familiarity with survey programming tools like Decipher, Qualtrics or Survey Monkey
  • Track record working in versatile and flexible environment; able to pivot with change effectively.
  • Experience presenting recommendations and influencing the business based on survey research or data analysis.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills to build support and sponsorship of initiatives and collaboration among partners, stakeholders and vendors.
