Summary:

Patco Brands is seeking a skilled Market Research Analyst to interpret and develop statistical data from various market research organizations. The ideal candidate will identify growth opportunities across state markets and retail chains, providing actionable insights to capitalize on these opportunities. Additionally, the analyst will maintain and develop user-friendly templates for use by sales and finance teams across the organization.

 

Responsibilities: 

·      Analyze and interpret market research data from multiple sources to identify trends and opportunities

·      Create detailed market maps for each state and retail chain, highlighting key opportunities and requirements for success.

  • Create ad-hoc reports utilizing various data sources, synthesizing complex information into actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders

·      Develop and maintain accessible, easy-to-navigate templates for sales and finance teams

·      Collaborate with cross-functionally with teams to ensure data-driven decision-making

·      Provide succinct updates to sales and marketing teams, including regular progress reports, key findings, and recommendations

o  Prepare regular reports on category performance, market trends and KPIs. Present findings to key stakeholders, including retailers and internal senior management. Collaborate with marketing and sales team to align on selling stories and strategies.

·      Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a timely and concise manner

·      Develop new approaches to grow sales through data-driven marketing optimization

·      Develop and maintain analytical models and tools to support trade and promotion analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.

  • Managing research, including vendor management, stakeholder management, operational management, and tracker consistency
  • Provide project management and analytical support for various initiatives, including creating detailed project plans, tracking progress against milestones, and effectively managing resources to meet project objectives within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
  • Provide analytical analysis, insights, and recommendations for category management projects.

 

Requirements: 

·      Experience in consumer goods/beverage industry, beverage alcohol industry a plus

·      Advanced knowledge of Excel and other data analysis software.

·      Strong project management skills.

·      Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics

·      Minimum of three years of experience in market research or data analysis.

o  Experience with IRI/Circana & Nielsen syndicated data and software

·      Proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools.

  • Strong ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise takeaways that drive action

·      Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

·      Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

·      Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
