About the role: We are working with an emerging and innovative spirits brand dedicated to crafting exceptional, high-quality products that redefine the drinking experience. Their commitment to excellence, creativity, and sustainability drives their success, and are looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Market Manager for the Mid Atlantic region, covering Massachusetts, Maryland, and Virginia.


Position Overview: The Market Manager will be responsible for driving the growth and visibility of our brand in the Mid Atlantic region. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the spirits industry, strong sales acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be based in Boston, MA, and will manage sales, marketing, and promotional activities across Massachusetts, Maryland, and Virginia.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including on-premise and off-premise accounts.
  • Manage and support distributor relationships to ensure optimal brand representation and product availability.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management.


Marketing and Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement regional marketing plans and promotional activities.
  • Organize and participate in industry events, tastings, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and consumer engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key influencers, bartenders, and industry professionals.


Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize product positioning and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and report on industry developments and competitor activities.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives and brand ambassadors.
  • Provide training and support to ensure the team’s success in achieving sales and marketing objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the spirits or beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of the Mid Atlantic market, with established relationships in the industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
