Under the direct supervision of the Senior VP of Product Development and Operations, the Manufacturing Technician will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. They will contribute to the production of life-saving medical products and the continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.
  • Follow established protocols to meet quality standards, perform quality control checks, and document results.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify and implement process improvements to optimizeproductivity and reduce waste.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment to ensure consistent performance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment, reporting any safety concerns or incidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and equipment maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing team, engineers, and quality control to resolve production issues and meet production targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant manufacturing procedures, guidelines, and training to enhance skills and knowledge.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A relevant technical degree or certification is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Basic mechanical and technical skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new manufacturing technologies.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work independently or as part of a team.
