Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

Material Handling Systems, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join our skilled team. This role is crucial for our operations, focusing on installation and manufacturing tasks to support our production and customer service efforts.

Job Description:

• Assist in installation tasks, including using forklifts and assisting with loading, unloading, and touch-up painting.
• Experience in general building and construction is preferred, with knowledge in steel fabrication considered a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of shop equipment and tools.
• Ensure safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Flexibility to occasionally travel for project needs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in construction or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Compensation and Hours:

• Basis for unit of salary/pay: Hourly
• Salary: $20-28
• Hours per week: 40
• Shift: Day shifts with potential for emergency weekend callouts.
