Manufacturing Project Manager
JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Project Manager/Scheduler
SUMMARY:
Are you a strategic planner with a knack for project management? Join our team as a Manufacturing Project Manager/Scheduler, where you will develop, communicate, and oversee the master production schedule for standard finished goods and manage custom product applications. You will ensure that the Production Foreman has a detailed plan to execute daily, weekly, and monthly production efficiently.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements.
- Assess finished good inventory levels against established targets for stocked items.
- Develop, monitor, and communicate comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly production requirements for each production area.
- Oversee the generation and distribution of manufacturing work order packages.
- Manage custom projects from initiation through production completion, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Procurement to meet customer requirements within committed schedules.
- Maintain knowledge of production capacity and develop solutions for efficient utilization.
- Advise the Plant Manager on near and intermediate-term labor requirements to support the production schedule.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement to identify new or non-standard material requirements and expedite procurement.
- Synchronize all resources to define priorities and meet customer needs.
- Notify Sales of any schedule impacts affecting customers.
- Coordinate and expedite manufacturing work to ensure schedules are achieved.
- Participate in daily reviews to ensure the delivery schedule is on track.
- Develop and track metrics, generating monthly reports for key business performance indicators related to manufacturing process execution.
- Identify and resolve production problems, escalating issues as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of experience in Project Management/Scheduling.
- Demonstrated proficiency in effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow efficiently.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals at all organizational levels.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Understanding of safety requirements and precautions.
- Physical capability to perform necessary labor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Continually required to use hand and finger dexterity.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
- Continually required to talk or hear.
- Continuously utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard.
- Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather related).
- Frequent proximity to moving mechanical parts.
- Occasional work in high, precarious places.
- Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
- Frequent exposure to outside weather conditions.
- Frequent exposure to loud noise (e.g., metal can manufacturing, large earth-moving equipment).
- Occasional exposure to very loud noise (e.g., jackhammer work).

- Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
- Scheduling: 3-5 years (Required)
