Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor with experience in an electrical or industrial manufacturing background who can manage the daily operations of the production processes in a manufacturing facility. Job duties include overseeing and coordinating the work of production workers in the Electrical Panel Shop to ensure the manufacturing operations run efficiently, including maintaining quality control standards, monitoring production schedules, and implementing safety procedures. Managing materials, equipment, and personnel will be required to optimize productivity and minimize waste. Must possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership qualities to manage teams and achieve production goals effectively. In this position, you will need to have the ability to balance the needs and demands of both upper management and frontline workers. Bilingual Spanish is a BIG plus.

Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Identifies departmental supply and service needs and coordinates the ordering process
• Collaborates with quality assurance in developing and approving manufacturing procedures and records
• Oversee and coach employees
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to specifications
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
  
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• 4 - 6 years of supervisory experience in electrical and or industrial manufacturing environment
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Computer proficiency and scheduling experience required
• Strong oral, written, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and issues in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach, organized and strong leadership abilities
