Manufacturing Process Engineer

FPC of Hendersonville is currently seeking a Process Engineer to be the sole owner of a site’s “Process Quality Management System” for a leading provider of innovative bonding and surfacing solutions. The ideal candidate is an engineer with experience improving manufacturing methods.

In this role you will work closely with Production Operators, Operations Manager, and other Process Engineers in an effort to meet plant quality goals and initiatives. Reports to the Plant Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sole owner of the site ‘Process Quality Management System’ - Responsible for developing and maintaining all aspects of this system to ensure the quality of finished products and raw materials.
• Develop and lead ‘Proactive Quality Control Plans’ - Used in gap analysis and troubleshooting to enhance product quality.
• Champion Root Cause Analysis - Implement corrective actions for process quality issues arising from daily production and customer feedback.
• Manage site non-conforming finished products and raw material - Ensure re-testing and quality compliance as needed.
• Standardize, train, and support Production Operators - Ensure adherence to quality work practices and procedures.

What they are looking for in a candidate:

• B.S. in Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline
• Process/Quality Engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
• Ability to work well with all levels of personnel throughout the facility
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black belt preferred
• US Citizenship or Green Card Holder
