This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about steel manufacturing and machined parts planning. You'll be working on ERP implementation and coordinating steel materials. Your knowledge of heat treatment, surface treatment, and machining will be put to the test. If you have a background in Manufacturing Planning and are familiar with AS9100 , this job could be the perfect fit for you.
Responsibilities
Planning and coordinating high-steel manufacturing processes, ensuring that all parts are available for assembly as required.
Developing and implementing ERP systems to streamline and improve operational efficiency.
Utilizing ERP system for machining operations and coordinating the production of high-strength steel components.
Managing steel materials, including heat treatment, surface treatment, and machining.
Using CAD/CAM software to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
Conducting metallurgical studies to improve product quality and reduce costs.
Ensuring compliance with AS9100 and NADCAP standards.
Identifying and implementing cost reduction strategies to improve profitability.
Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements to ensure that the company remains competitive.
Managing inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and minimal waste.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is a plus.
Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing planning, specifically in high steel manufacturing and machined parts planning.
Experience with ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of steel materials, heat treatment, surface treatment, and machining.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
Familiarity with metallurgical studies.
Knowledge of AS9100 and NADCAP standards.
Proven track record of cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Ability to keep up with industry trends and advancements.
Excellent inventory management skills.
