We value individuals who can think outside the box and bring their unique perspective to our team!During your 12-week internship with the Manufacturing Team at MegaFood, you will be immersed in our culture and team objectives. You will be a contributing member of our team during your time with us. You will be working on various deliverables to ensure you gain knowledge and skills to bring with you to your next adventure. INTERNSHIP OBJECTIVES: Implement and deploy CIL (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate) Board methodology to track and improve safety and productivity in various MegaFood processesCreate documentation, such as Standard Work Instructions and Training/Troubleshooting Documents related to the above processesLead the collection and collation of manufacturing pilot data and writing of pilot reports REQUIREMENTS: A focus on maintaining workplace safety at all times and the humility to ask questions if unsure of anythingEngineering, Science, and Statistics CourseworkPreferred: rising college Junior or SeniorAn interest in working in a production environment and in getting experience in continuous improvementInterest and intuition in Chemical/Mechanical processesThe ideal candidate is someone who doesn't just do as instructed, but intuits and suggests improvements based on their own analysis of the projectComfortable working with various systems and online platformsFast learner of computer software such as AutocadFantastic organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills What to expect if chosen to join the MegaFood Intern Team: You will learn about MegaFood as a company and be immersed in the team environment!You will be given a meaningful intern experience, assisting on a specific project/field of work and expanding your knowledge What do we need from you?
