ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada with locations in Cypress, California and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and scaling and we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join the Engineering team in an onsite position in Henderson, NV as main home but will require travel between all our factories. As a Manufacturing Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians transitioning new products and accessories from the R&D phase to the manufacturing phase. You will be working on the floor with the production team at all three factories to implement the installation process. Your primary goal will be to design new and improve existing processes, procedures, and testing for ANA’s current and future product lines that support the equipment rental industry.

This role reports to the Director of Engineering. The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays from 8:00 – 5:00pm. About 25% travel to other factory locations throughout the country.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Training: Set up re-occurring training programs for operations to ensure consistency throughout multiple factories
  • Cost Reduction: Key member of cost reduction committee to drive reduce COGS and labor efficiency to improve margins without affecting product quality
  • Product Launch: Responsible for launch activities utilizing the product development stage gate process
  • Production Process: Manage the development and maintain detailed standard manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy utilizing best practice within the lean manufacturing principles
  • ERP: Manage production BOM accuracy and create routing workflow using Business Central for each factory
  • Team Dynamics: Collaborate with engineers, planning, technicians, and production team, to ensure alignment with product manufacturability and process. Build a strong team environment that fosters growth and manufacturing innovation
  • Production Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement within manufacturing operations.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to allocate resources effectively and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Delegate to the manufacturing engineer task and responsibility to meet deadlines
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control measures and inspection processes to ensure that manufactured products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to manufacturing operations and customer deliveries
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with different state and federal regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations throughout the manufacturing process
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate manufacturing process, drawings and procedure documents
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication channels with the engineering team, manufacturing team and planning team. Communicate to key stake holders with monthly reports on cost reduction and efficiency improvements
  • Cost Control: Monitor manufacturing process to ensure cost effectiveness, efficiency and operational goals are met
  • Strategy: Strategize with all plants to define and implement assembly workflow to maintain consistently throughout the company
  • Support: Ensure the manufacturing engineering team can support manufacturing with stop gaps including troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
  • Reporting: Prepare regular progress, continuous improvement and procedures reports for management review
  • Safety: Prioritize and enforce safety procedures to protect the well-being of all team members
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role with at least 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with production processes and procedures required
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP system, preferably Business Central and CAD software
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward manufacturing efficiency
  • Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on data-driven analysis and continuous improvement
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements

$105,000 - $120,000 a year

The salary range for this role is $105,000 - 120,000 per year, which serves as a guide for pay decisions. Final compensation will be determined by a of factors, such as candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, as well as pay equity considerations.
