Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Fayetteville, NC. This role focuses on utilizing technology and engineering principles to streamline our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient use of time, resources, and energy. The ideal candidate will have experience in precision machining and be adept at working with a variety of manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret engineering drawings to guide the manufacturing process.
Select appropriate tools and set tolerance levels for machinery.
Operate mills, lathes, CNC machines and other manufacturing equipment.
Develop and implement manufacturing process plans (MPPs) in collaboration with Industrial Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Production stakeholders.
Ensure detailed work instructions and other shop floor documentation support rate production.
Provide shop floor support to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
Monitor and cultivate improvements in quality, schedule, and cost performance.
Support training activities for new and existing manufacturing engineering team members.
Continuously improve manufacturing processes to reduce cost, span time, and defects.
Communicate with customers and vendors to understand and meet product specifications.
Implement standard procedures to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Deliver products within approved timelines and budgets.
