Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join the F-16 Forward team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting all stages of the program lifecycle, from developing manufacturing plans to supporting full-rate production and post-delivery sustainment. Your expertise will be key to ensuring efficient and effective aircraft production.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement detailed manufacturing plans, ensuring efficient production processes and adherence to industry standards.
Collaborate with shop floor personnel, design engineers, quality engineers, and other cross-functional teams to support and optimize the production of various platforms.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Analyze production discrepancies, develop corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution to maintain production schedules and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including process instructions, engineering changes, and manufacturing plans.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols and standards, conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain high-quality production outputs.
Provide training and guidance to shop floor personnel and junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
