Job Description

  • Expert knowledge in CNC machining and lean manufacturing environment
  • comfortable with launching new products and processes
  • customer and quality-focused
  • advanced blueprint reading skills
  • knowledgeable of feeds & speeds for both material and cutting tool geometry
  • safety-conscious
  • computer savvy (Microsoft, Solidworks, AutoCAD, ERP systems, etc)

Job Duties

  • research, develop, and implement manufacturing processes
  • assess and formulate plans for improvement projects, including all aspects such as equipment, timeline, personnel, etc.
  • Evaluate and improve product/process profitability
  • establish and maintain outside vendor relationships
  • maintaining schedules and various reporting
  • 50% of the time in the office/lab
  • 50% of the time on the floor
