Manufacturing Engineer

Gabriele & Company, recruiters for manufacturing and supply chain professionals, is working with an innovative leader in precision machining and forming of components used in aerospace, oil/gas and military applications. With a strong pipeline our client is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a dual role: you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates and programming for machined components for multiple industries, and also support manufacturing operations through process improvements, tool design, cycle time reductions, and developing CNC programs.

Essential Duties:

• Calculate detailed production costs and lead cost estimating activities for complex machined components
• Coordinate with supply chain material sourcing and outsourced processes
• Control production job costs, perform variance analysis, and coordinate with manufacturing to improve processes
• CNC programming using in-house CAM software
• implement manufacturing process improvements to drive cost reduction and quality improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors in a technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience with engineering of complex components.
• In-depth knowledge of machining setups, tooling applications, and procedures
• Strong understanding GD&T
• Proficient in 2D drawing interpretation and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Able to obtain Security Clearance as needed
