Our client a $35B+ AUM investment manager is seeking a senior level fundraiser to lead coverage of the Western region of the US. This individual will be responsible for building and managing relationships with institutional clients, including pension funds, endowments, insurance companies and other key investors. This role will require a deep understanding of private credit markets, a strong network of industry contacts, and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic distribution efforts.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive distribution strategy for asset management team
Cultivate and maintain relationships with institutional investors, including pitching and presenting investment opportunities.
Collaborate with the investment team to ensure alignment between product offerings and investor demand.
Lead investor meetings, roadshows, and webcasts for new products
Ability to present firm offerings at targeted conference platforms globally
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of experience in private credit distribution or related roles.
Minimum of 4+ years successfully initiating and developing institutional investors relationships and preferably raising capital for private funds, preferably in private credit
Must have a deep understanding of and experience working with corporate debt, direct lending, CLOs, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure LOBs
Proven track record of successfully raising capital from institutional investors.
Strong network of relationships with institutional investors in the private credit space.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
Deep knowledge of private credit markets and investment products.
