Managing Director, Medicaid Practice Lead

Eastward Partners has been retained by a prominent management consulting and advisory firm to identify a Managing Director for the Health and Human Services sub practice of their Public Sector Services practice.

The practice leads major transformations within state agencies in order to improve the delivery of programs in behavioral health and Medicaid.

Job Description

As a candidate for Managing Director, Public Sector Services you can expect to:

• Leverage a deep and broad personal network of decision-makers functioning in senior state medical agency roles to introduce the firm as a strategic advisor and viable provider of services.
• Personally execute and lead project teams, ensuring value of service and client satisfaction.
• Maintain strong awareness of industry trends and competitive factors towards aggressively growing the practice, building solutions and creating thought pieces to stimulate provocative discussion; participating in industry conferences and speaking opportunities to
• Appropriately balance the focus on growth and revenue generation with a clear ability to meet profitability targets and bottom-line results.

As a candidate for Managing Director, Public Sector Services, you will have:

• Significant breadth and volume of experience consulting within the health and human services realm, specifically with state medical agencies and Medicaid offices. State government experience preferred.
• Deep consulting experience in performance improvement, operational restructuring, and transformation in the Public Sector.
• Substantial knowledge of financial administration and state budgeting, regulatory compliance, and litigation headlines. Specific expertise in these areas within Medicaid preferred.
