About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Venture Capital and Investment Director to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the CEO to drive capital initiatives and create long-term shareholder value. You'll play a key role in leading our investment strategies, managing tech company exits, and nurturing investor relationships.
Responsibilities
Partner with the CEO to develop and execute capital raising strategies, ensuring alignment with long-term objectives.
Utilize your expertise in capital raising and investments to lead negotiations and secure favorable terms for the company.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, building credibility and trust for our enterprise.
Develop compelling materials to engage with the investor community, including tailored financial models and valuation analyses.
Stay informed about market trends and investor sentiment, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Manage external relationships with investment banks, advisory firms, and venture capital partners.
Drive capital raising and investor relations operations, ensuring excellence and transparency throughout.
Requirements
Minimum of 9 years of proven excellence in capital raising and investments, with a focus on the tech sector.
Proficiency in legal, tax, accounting, asset management, M&A, and investment strategy.
Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and manage complex investment transactions.
Strong network of high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and family offices.
Passion for entrepreneurship and building scalable businesses.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and skill set, with a significant emphasis on equity to ensure alignment with shareholder interests. We offer a flexible work environment with opportunities for remote work, though we prefer candidates located within 30 miles of downtown Austin for community engagement purposes.
