Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader with a strong entrepreneurial background to drive our organization forward. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the coffee industry, with proven expertise in managing multi-channel operations. This individual will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, driving growth, and ensuring operational excellence across all facets of the business. Equity options are available, as we want someone who acts like an owner and partner in our journey towards success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's strategic plan to achieve business goals and objectives. Ensure alignment with the company's mission, vision, and values.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including coffee roasting, wholesale, DTC, grocery partnerships, and retail cafes. Implement and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
- Business Development: Expand the company's market presence through new business opportunities, partnerships, and innovative sales strategies. Lead efforts to enter new markets and expand existing ones.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing executive team. Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that encourages collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
- Customer Focus: Ensure exceptional customer experiences across all channels. Maintain high standards of product quality and service.
- Brand Management: Oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand recognition and loyalty. Maintain consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
- Sustainability and Community Engagement: Promote sustainable practices within the organization and engage with the local community. Support initiatives that align with the company’s social and environmental values.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, investors, and employees. Represent the company at industry events and public forums.
Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Extensive experience in the coffee industry, including knowledge of coffee roasting, wholesale distribution, and retail operations.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of successful leadership in a senior executive role. Experience managing multi-channel businesses is highly desirable.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, strategic planning, and business development. Ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate the company’s vision and strategy to diverse audiences.
- Innovative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex problems and drive innovation within the organization.
