About the role:

CHANEL is seeking a Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure and maintain all aspects of Visual Merchandising for Retail Fashion Boutiques in Honolulu, Hawaii. This would include Ala Moana Shoe Boutique, Ala Moana Fashion Boutique and Waikiki Boutique. This role will be reporting to the West Coast Senior Group Director for Visual Merchandising. You will join a team of passionate, driven Visual Merchandising professionals upholding the CHANEL vision across all doors.

  • Ability to lead Visual Merchandising training seminars for the store teams
  • Passion and energy for floor moves and interior mannequin changes with the Boutique Management as per CHANEL guidelines
  • Management of multiple Boutique Visual Merchandising people, and freelance Visual Merchandising
  • Enthusiasm for Visual Merchandising of Watches & Fine Jewelry where relevant
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are being met around photo documentation submission and other tasks
  • Support West Coast Visual Merchandising community & Corporate teams across US with monthly travel
  • Comfort with ambiguity and working solo

What you will bring to the team:


  • 7+ years of Visual Merchandising experience required
  • Weekend and overnight assignments will be required
  • Associate's degree in Display & Exhibition Design or Art/Fashion related degree
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in Visual Merchandising and Retail Display necessary for consideration


Position Logistics:


  • Work-Place Essential: This role requires 5 days in person office at the designated location/office.
  • Must be able to travel
  • Must be willing and able to travel by airplane & automobile with a Valid Divers License / Passport, Reliable Car (local travel) & Car Insurance
  • Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs
  • Chanel, Inc. reserves the right to edit, change, or make exceptions on designations where circumstances where deemed appropriate.


Compensation:


  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $69,100 through $105,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
