Job Description

The Manager, Store Design Franchise & Licensing will serve as a key liaison with external partners as we build out our Franchise partnerships and process, ensuring our store design & experiences come through in franchise stores. This person has a collaborative approach, is future focused, customer-centric and dedicated to creating exceptional experiences aligned with our brand strategies. This person has an “all hands-on deck” approach and is well versed in both store concepting and technical retail store design.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Act as the lead Store Design contact for Franchise partners.
  • Develop a solid understanding of our current owned and operated process to become a brand expert.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help inform and develop a process that meets our capital and franchise business needs within team capacity.
  • Create Franchise partner training materials.
  • Manage and lead Franchise/Licensee partner onboarding.
  • Work with Franchise partners to develop and deliver store strategies and experiences which are locally relevant while maintaining our brand guidelines and global brand consistency.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to communicate store design plans ensuring visibility and alignment.
  • Manage coordination & organization between internal cross-functional partners & external partners to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met.

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in Interior Design or Architecture
  • 8+ years of retail design experience required
  • Proficient use of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up & 3D Modeling Programs
  • Knowledge of general domestic & international code restrictions
  • General understanding of constructability
  • Organized and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated – ability to work independently and drive results
  • Team player – collaborate effectively with a team and diverse group of business partners
  • Receptive to feedback from team and multiple business partners
  • Energetic, positive, creative problem solver with a solution-based outlook
  • Strong communication skills
