Manager, Sales Support, Alternative Forms of Payment

As the Manager, Sales Support for Alternative Forms of Payment (AFP) you will support the expansion of UATP’s payment network by promoting new engagement from Member’s across alternative forms of payment in all regions. This position provides ongoing cross functional commercial and technical support to Members. Based in the United States, this is a fully remote position that reports to the Managing Director, Commercial, Americas.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Promote new engagement from Members across alternative forms of payment.
  • Provide ongoing cross functional commercial and technical support to Members, including assisting in the recruitment, implementation, transaction processing, and volume growth. Facilitate first and second level support for customer issues.
  • Support the Commercial team, including participating in planning tactical and strategic initiatives, supporting existing clients, assisting existing members and prospective Network Members on recruitment, onboarding, program growth efforts, and serving as a follow-up resource when it comes to action items related to the entire sales lifecycle.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to UATP Members and partners.
  • Attend and participate in virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Develop and maintain positive, respectful, and productive relationships with individuals inside and outside UATP.

Qualifications

  • At least five (5) years of experience in either the airline, global credit/charge card, or travel payments industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and skills were acquired.
  • Excellent commercial abilities, including proposal development, solution design, and value quantification capabilities.
  • Ability to analyze and translate hard numerical data into actionable insight.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, cross functional, and remote team, in a home-based environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, domestically and internationally. Trips may be overnight, week-long, and may require occasional weekend travel.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Reside in the United States.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to provide proper documentation of eligibility. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
