Job Description:

The Manager, Regional Operations will report to OneOncology’s Director, Regional Operations. This role will be a servant leader focused on advancing our mission and driving growth and operational excellence in partnership with affiliated practices. The Manager, Regional Operations is responsible for relationship management, tactical implementation, and oversight of practice initiatives within the assigned region. This role can simultaneously oversee multiple initiatives, practices, and service lines. This will require extensive time “in the field” assessing implementation strategies and relationship building with local partner practices. This operations leadership role represents an extraordinary opportunity for a leader with strong operations, financial and organizational growth capabilities.

Responsibilities

Grow the Business:

  • Works with OneOncology and practice leadership team to develop market-based strategies in alignment with overall OneOncology and practice goals, and then implements them through management teams and physician champions
  • Be an active member in the community in ways that build OneOncology’s recognition
  • Participates with growth and development plans (organic, de novo, or acquisition) either within or outside the region, including meeting with prospective practices and physicians as needed.
  • Provides marketing support to assist in hitting growth objectives and building relationships within the communities that the position serves

Operations:

  • Executes on strategic operating plans and goals for assigned region as directed by the Regional VP of Operations.
  • Ongoing analysis of the operational efficiencies of practices within assigned region with an eye to ROI at multiple levels
  • Contributes to development and achievement of regional budget in accordance with OneOncology’s policies
  • Benchmarks key performance indicators and major processes in order to move towards best practices and ensures consistency of these indicators across the practices
  • Monitors key performance indicators and creates action plans to address areas for improvement
  • Leverage expertise at OneOncology and best practices across the platform to support excellence in all areas of practice management and patient care in accordance with Management Services Agreement
  • Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Leadership & Relationship Management

  • Fosters and maintains positive and productive working relationships with physicians, practice leaders, and key strategic partners within designated region
  • Leverages those relationships to drive key business objectives and deliver targeted results through influential leadership
  • Proactive leadership that inspires overachievement and resolves performance issues that are detected
  • Provide honest and productive performance review feedback for practice and OneOncology colleagues as requested
  • Monitors, manages, and organizes team responsibilities and resources to achieve success in all areas of the business
  • Takes personal ownership in providing service excellence. Empowers team to identify and participate in process improvement and problem solving
  • Addresses partner practice concerns promptly, utilizing customer service skills. Makes recommendations for and/or implements process changes as needed

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: At least 5+ years progressive leadership responsibility in healthcare services setting, performance improvement organization, or consulting is required. Oncology experience a plus
  • High proficiency with computer-based software and a myriad of technology solutions
  • Project management and performance improvement experience is preferred
  • Proven leadership in a general manger capacity with the ability to design and provide supervision of services, create project plans, identify and implement process improvement and lead with effective cost discipline and resource stewardship across multiple locations
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, creative and independent thinking skills
  • Travel – at least 75% within region
