Manager Project Management Office

Our financial services client located in Houston, TX, is looking to add a Portfolio Manager to their team! The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for implementing robust processes to track and manage IT costs and ensure value realization from project delivery. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of the enterprise portfolio, collaborating closely with finance teams, business lines, and Corporate IT. The ideal candidate will integrate SAFe principles to support enterprise agile practices, driving efficiency and effectiveness across project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage processes for tracking and optimizing IT costs and value realization.
• Lead the day-to-day operations of the enterprise portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate effectively with finance teams, business lines, and Corporate IT to achieve portfolio goals.
• Integrate SAFe principles and support enterprise agile practices throughout project execution.
• Review financials, budgets, business cases, and ROI of company projects to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, IT Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in leading complex IT portfolios.
• 2+ years of active leadership role in scaled agile transformations, with experience in implementing SAFe.
• Strong understanding of IT financial management, budgeting, and business case development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.

Preferred Skills:

• SAFe certification or relevant agile certifications.
• Experience in a similar role within a large-scale enterprise environment.
