Develop and manage a full cycle recruiting process
Manage the annual employee performance review process
Manage, on a hands-on basis, the employee progressive disciplinary process including the interface with outside counsel when necessary
Improve our recruiting practices
Manage two full-time recruiter and one junior professional/administrative staff
Understand that filling positions quickly with high quality candidates is a critical function for the company and drive that process
Leverage multiple sourcing strategies and channels including external network, job boards, networking events, and internal referrals to provide high quality candidates for open positions
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and goals
Provide insight to hiring managers regarding salary expectations for hiring needs
Prepare screening questions for requirements
Individually and as a manager, screen resumes, interview qualified candidates, evaluate skill level, reference checks, and make salary recommendations
Individually or as a manager, conduct phone and/or preliminary interviews
Oversee and/or schedule interviews for hiring managers
Prepare employment offer letters
Interface with the employee benefits department to coordinate onboarding of new staff
Develop and maintain strong internal customer and candidate relationships
Maintain applicant tracking system with accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and candidate sourcing
Comply with all federal and state laws and company policies regarding recruitment and selection processes, and termination practices
Attend weekly meetings designed to update status of open positions
Maintain and distribute relevant data regarding all recruiting and other HR activities
Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years of technical recruiting experience
5 years of managing HR or recruiting staff
AA in Human Resources or related field (BS preferred)
Experience in government contracting and government contract recruiting
In depth knowledge of federal HR compliance
ATS experience (ISolved preferred)
Excellent relationship building and client services focused
Highly organized and detail oriented
Flexible, versatile, and works well under pressure
Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
Ability to readily adapt to changing requirements
