We are on the hunt for a dynamic and innovative Manager of Software Quality to join our high-performing QA Engineering teams. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop our software quality assurance team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications that exceed our customers' expectations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with a solid track record in managing offshore QA teams, and a thorough understanding of agile scrum practices. This role will involve developing and implementing QA operating procedures, managing bug tracking, and overseeing enterprise application test development.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and execution of automated QA tests and procedures to ensure software meets organizational standards and end-user requirements.
• Manage and guide the offshore QA team, ensuring efficient and effective testing processes.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the QA team.
• Utilize agile scrum practices to deliver high-quality software in a timely manner.
• Oversee bug tracking and resolution, working closely with the software engineering team.
• Manage and develop enterprise application test development.
• Responsible for people management within the QA team, including performance reviews, training, and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Continually review and implement improvements to the QA process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a software quality assurance role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Proven experience with QA testing, automated QA, and offshore QA management.
• Solid understanding and experience with agile scrum practices.
• Experience with bug tracking and enterprise application test development.
• Strong people management skills, with a proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent knowledge of QA operating procedures and SOP development.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certification in Quality Assurance (CQA) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) would be a plus.
