Job Description
At our company, we're on a mission to redefine the future of events. As the Manager of Events, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating impactful gatherings that leave a lasting impression. Reporting to senior leadership, you'll have the autonomy to develop and execute strategies for a diverse portfolio of customer-facing events and sponsorships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end execution of event strategies, ensuring seamless planning, budget management, and flawless implementation.
Manage a dynamic team of external partners and resources to deliver exceptional experiences for up to 1,500 attendees annually across 18-22 events.
Oversee budgeting, expense analysis, and sponsorship fulfillment, driving revenue and cost efficiency.
Utilize innovative platforms for event management and engagement, enhancing attendee experiences and operational efficiency.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing and communications to align event objectives with broader company goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring a professional and engaging experience for all participants.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Proven experience (10+ years) in event management, with expertise in budgeting, logistics, and vendor management.
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage teams and external contractors.
Experience with event management platforms and technology solutions.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with occasional travel requirements.
