The role of the Manager of Benzene Waste Operations NESHAP (BWON) Services is to lead a team in the development and delivery of high-quality BWON regulatory service offerings across a broad and prestigious client base. The Manager will play a major role in expanding Trinity’s BWON services footprint as it relates to air consulting by developing deeper relationships with current clients and creating new relationships with other companies. The Manager will report to the Director of Chemical Sector Services or the Director of Refining Sector Services.

We are looking for an independent leader, capable of organizing a team of professionals to respond to proposal opportunities, conduct presentations and deliver proposals to clients, secure client commitments, develop and manage client relationships, and leverage relationships into additional opportunities. The Manager also must possess ongoing knowledge of current and developing environmental and regulatory air quality issues at the Federal level that are applicable to BWON.

EXPERIENCE

The Manager has led complex, difficult engagements (national and/or multiple sites, multiple work streams, large teams, multiple phases or launches, etc.) Experience includes ability to:

· Identify and deploy resources, assign work, create work plans, ensure quality of work, etc.

· Collaborate with clients to address issues impacting the financial performance of projects.

· Ensure mutually beneficial service delivery by liaising with client contacts and identifying future client issues and opportunities.

· Experience with BWON expertise especially in chemical and petroleum industries, conducting compliance audits and gap assessments, training, wastewater sampling, enforcement assistance, BWON reports, evaluating clients' potential for risk, and BWON compliance assistance including starting up or maintaining a program.

· Presentations at industry conferences (local or national)

· Manage project status and relationships and ensure that engagement deliverables meet client expectations within time and budget.

· Monitor actual to budget realization and margins; re-forecast as appropriate.

· Design and lead effective meetings with senior executives.

· Structure and plan deliverables for multiple phases of a complex projects.

· Guide, coach, and mentor employees (3-5 employees).

· Manage performance, including development of written performance reviews and roundtable discussions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive experience in BWON as it relates to air compliance including experience with several facilities for a minimum of ten (10) years. The candidate must be able to ensure compliance to legal and established system requirements with extensive knowledge of BWON related issues and environmental regulations.

The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal skills associated with proposal and report generation, client presentations, and conducting internal training activities. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy & Law, Regulatory Affairs, etc.) and EHS experience in BWON at chemical and/or refining environment or served as a EHS consultant to those facilities. Candidate must possess the ability to work independently, as well as part of an effective team.

Trinity Grade Level: Minimum G58

OVERALL EXPECTATIONS

Expectations for the position are as follows:

1. Utilization ≥ 50%

2. Travel~ 33% of the time

a. Flexibility to travel across the U.S. to support BWON BLM role

3. Participation with chemical and refining industry organizations

4. Assume lead instructor role in at least one national course offering as related to BWON

5. Organize Trinity’s existing staff with BWON experience into a cohesive group that shares knowledge to increase efficiency of delivery and service to industry clients having BWON programs
