Job Responsibilities
As part of the Media Partnerships team at ONE Championship, the Manager, Media Partnerships, LATAM role will lead the existing media distribution relationships in LATAM, Caribbeans, and Mexico as well as establish new ones. As ONE continues to expand in the Western Markets, this role will be critical in leading, account servicing and managing strategic discussions with existing and new partners in the region. Your role will include the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Develop and cultivate a strong relationship with our partners in the region taking on full ownership of the relationships
- Day to day account management scope includes weekly catch ups with partners for regular promotion and marketing planning, delivering programming needs of partners, pre- and post-media reporting etc
- Work directly with the Partners to optimize marketing and programming requirements
- Work cross functionally with internal stakeholders including Production, Analytics and Insights, Marketing, Commercial Sales and Ad Ops to coordinate promotion and programming efforts across ONE
- Partner across the Partner’s broader organization to build synergies across departments, including new departments which are currently not a part of the initial partnership launch.
- Use data and analytics to identify programming opportunities and gaps as well as new partnership opportunities in the market
- Leverage data to conduct in-depth analyses across areas of the business to develop an understanding of key value drivers, identifying improvement areas and opportunities, and shape action plans
The ideal candidate should:
- Have 2-5 years of prior experience in the broadcast and media industry, ideally in sports
- Comfortable in both large, matrixed organization and in lean “start-up like” environments
- Comfortable working in multiple time zones, including working directly with ONE’s HQ in Singapore
- Good knowledge of the LATAM media landscape including sports & content distribution and licensing
- Ability to read and analyse TV and digital media data and provide strategic recommendations to our media partners to increase ONE’s reach and engagement
- Be a team player who is able to work independently, be solutions driven, proactive and adaptable to changes, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Open to travel
- Spanish & Portugese is a must
