Position Summary

We're seeking a dynamic and visionary Infrastructure Leader to join our team and spearhead our infrastructure initiatives, ensuring we enable the AZEK Company Strategy while our operations remain robust, scalable, and future-proof.

As the Infrastructure Leader, you will be the driving force behind the strategic planning, development, and implementation of our infrastructure approach. Your leadership will be crucial in optimizing our processes, enhancing productivity, and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our infrastructure, leveraging your expertise to support our growth and innovation.

The position reports to the CIO, manages 3 direct reports, and owns multiple vendor relationships.

Position Responsibilities

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Leadership & Management

• Define future state technology road map and make recommendations to ensure effective investments are made to enable scale, quality, maintenance and overall cost effectiveness.
• Regularly assess skills and capabilities and recommend actions to adapt when necessary.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders to define and prioritize infrastructure initiatives that support business growth and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Collaborate with IT peers to implement robust architecture and governance frameworks to guarantee stability, security, and compliance.
• Lead a team of skilled professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. Mentor and develop team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
• Stay current on industry trends and the use of emerging technologies that can contribute business value.
• Budget and manage financial plans as directed, while maintaining an awareness of industry benchmarks to serve as a basis of comparison.
• Manage vendor relationships on an operational/project level, ensuring effective integration into overall IT capabilities.

Infrastructure Management

• Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency, ensuring our infrastructure can support our growth plans.
• Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of robust and scalable infrastructure systems, including networks, servers, storage, and data centers. Ensure the reliability, security, and performance meets or exceeds enterprise needs.
• Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate risks and ensure operational resilience. Proactively identify and address potential vulnerabilities in our infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to provide risk-mitigating solutions including vulnerability management and robust patching.
• Provide guidance to project teams to ensure effective infrastructure planning and scoping.
• Manage detailed resource plans, forecasts and expertise needs of internal and external resources; contribute to planning of strategic skill mix decisions.

Education

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience

• Proven experience in a leadership role within infrastructure management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including networks, servers, storage, virtualization, backup and cloud computing.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term plans while managing day-to-day operations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Compensation for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The annual salary for this role based in Wilmington, OH is $125,000 to $135,000. The annual salary for this role based in Scranton, PA is $120,000 to $130,000. The annual salary for this role based in Chicago, IL is $135,000 to $145,000. In addition to base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.
