For applicants within Maryland, Nevada, Ohio and Washington States, the following hiring range will be applied: $112,756.80 - $209,414.40 with a target hiring range of $112,756.80 - $161,096.00.

Job Description

Sentara is looking for a manager responsible for overseeing IT personnel and daily operations within the IT department. Their duties include creating job posts, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates, relaying information between upper management and department employees, and managing the department budget.

Job Responsibilities

Manages the Data Quality and Master Data Management (MDM) teams.

  • Manages employees and contractors. Provides onboarding and updates contract details in workday.
  • Provide leadership and help foster a work culture that recognizes, and supports individual differences in work styles, personalities, cultures, and values to maximize team performance and effectively achieve team goals.
  • Strong leader with proven ability to manage resources to develop a high-performing team of IT Professionals.
  • Assign work to team members using ServiceNow and Jira.
  • Meets with each of the team members on a bi-weekly basis and reviews the projects they are working on.
  • Keeps track of the team's work and deadlines.
  • Finds solutions to issues escalated by team members.
  • Holds bi-weekly team meetings to go over current events/go-lives.
  • Holds yearly performance reviews of team members.
  • Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties.

Projects/Demands:

  • Drive projects from inception to delivery, managing budget, timelines, and quality goals. Identify, analyze, mitigate, and proactively respond to project, financial, and operational risks.
  • Analyzes documents and defines work effort and resources for each upcoming project/demand.
  • Attends meetings to determine the workflow and requirements for projects/demands.
  • Manages the demands assigned to the team.
  • Keeps up with documentation and ensures necessary training and/or communication.
  • Attends consultation meetings to support other areas of the organization.
  • Attends all meetings for challenging projects.

Product Owner:

  • Responsible for Profisee and Informatica Cloud Data Quality within the Data Services organization.
  • Ensure data is reliable, complete, consistent, and aligned with data governance policies.
  • Oversee Data Quality activities such as profiling, standardization of data values, creating scorecards, creating reusable data quality rules, managing exceptions, identifying and resolving data issues, cleansing and validating project data, duplicate management, reference table management, providing users with data quality reports and metrics.
  • Responsible for designing and executing a Data Quality Audit/Assessment.
  • Participates in disaster recovery testing plans.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Ensure continuous improvement with a focus on identifying and implementing best practices, measuring performance, and driving improvements.
  • Helping manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, new vendor selection processes, renewal solutions, maintenance, and support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills; able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Agile team management.

Job Eligibility: -

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience working in IT operations.
  • Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices

Qualifications:

BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree (Preferred)

  • Microsoft Purview
  • Informatica Cloud Data Quality.
