Reports to: VP Global Strategy
The Manager, Global Strategy, is a critical role within Wella’s Corporate Strategy team. This role is responsible for leading key strategic initiatives and projects that ensure Wella’s sustained market leadership and superior value creation. This role supports the development of our customer—and consumer-centric growth agenda.
Reporting to the Director of Global Strategy, this talented individual will drive innovative growth and value creation by executing strategy projects focused on business opportunities, including market, category, business model, operating excellence, and capability extensions in service of enterprise strategy. Key responsibilities:
Drive value creation and competitive advantage through delivering business plans:
Support a project team to breakdown the strategic questions to be answered and execute essential research, workshops, analysis, project scope/timeline, leveraging cross functional roles/responsibilities
Execute rigorous and innovative business plans, tailored to the position of the company and industry, inclusive of market research, option development, strategic rationale, deep understanding of organizational capabilities, pro-forma financials, and implementation plans
Build communications, decks, and analyses to create clarity, energy, and inspiration for leaders and business partners; present ideas in excellent written and verbal communications
Interfaces closely with business partners to get the work done
Support the corporate strategic planning process, providing quantitative and qualitative analysis, recommendations, and materials preparation

Qualifications
Highly collaborative, adept at building strong relationships in Strategy and with business partners

Loves fast-paced environments and learns quickly; focuses on producing excellent deliverables
Total 2-5 years of experience in top-tier Management consulting, corporate, brand strategy roles, IB and/or PE. Undergraduate business degree or MBA required.
Proven track record of excellence
Leadership: excellent interpersonal and communication skills; authentically values diversity. Proven team player
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a desire to gain insights and answers from qualitative and quantitative data
Knowledge of consumer product and/or beauty industry a plus
Understand financial analysis/working knowledge of financial statements
We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Pay Range: $100K-$126K salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role. In addition, Wella Company provides a rich variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance, life, and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
