Manager for Financial Analysis -- Remote | WFH

Location: This position is based in Boston, MA, with the flexibility to work remotely within the U.S. or a hybrid arrangement. Occasional international travel, up to 15%, may be required.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analysis Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Associate Director of Financial Analysis, this role will be instrumental in providing insightful financial analyses to drive organizational decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and a collaborative spirit to thrive in our positive work environment.

Major Responsibilities

Financial Analyses (50%)

  • Develop and maintain a suite of standard financial analysis tools under the guidance of the Associate Director.
  • Regularly update financial data and communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual results to stakeholders.
  • Support ad hoc analyses and projects as required.

Multi-year Financial Projections & Finance Systems (25%)

  • Collaborate with the Business Information Systems (BIS) team to manage financial reports and ensure their accuracy and usability.
  • Participate in the enhancement of financial systems to drive continuous improvement in financial analysis.

Management Revenue Projection & Analysis (15%)

  • Oversee revenue analyses including fundraising ROI and expense projections.
  • Enhance processes and tools for revenue forecasting to support monthly financial reporting.

Other Responsibilities (10%)

  • Provide mentorship to site finance team members to enhance their analytical capabilities.
  • Mentor other team members as needed.
  • Occasional international travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of eight years of progressive finance experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in public administration, business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and financial modeling. Experience with PowerBI, Serenic, and Vena is a plus.
  • Supervisory experience with a diverse team.
  • Experience in a global non-profit organization is required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Interest in social justice and global health equity.
  • Proficiency in French, Haitian Creole, or Spanish is desirable.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is expected to be between $70,000 and $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, eligible employees may enroll in our comprehensive benefits package.
