Manager, Digital Operations

Fuse Media is seeking an experienced Manager of Digital Operations to join the digital team. This role is responsible for project managing the day-to-day operations of all digital content distribution, maintenance of owned and operated platforms and workflows for content delivery to non-linear platforms. The Manager of Digital Operations will coordinate asset processing and requests, oversee content deliveries, supervise workflow operations, maintain digital processes, and execute on partner deliverables. The ideal candidate is detail and solution oriented with a strong ability to adapt to the continually changing digital landscape. This position reports to the Vice President of Digital Operations and is be based in Glendale, CA. We practice a hybrid work model, with several in-office workdays required.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Manage all digital workflow processes and implementations for distribution executions.
  • Liaise with content strategy, post-production, brand creative and 3rd party vendors to implement and maintain best practices for content workflow, delivery & publishing.
  • Gather and coordinate delivery of all assets to Fuse platforms.
  • Ensure timely delivery of content and marketing assets for distribution partners across all digital video platforms.
  • Maintain and improve current systems and processes with digital 3rd party vendors.
  • Update content distribution grids based on content strategy to ensure compliance with affiliate and legal clearances.
  • Manage and improve existing processes to launch and maintain SVOD services and propose and implement new workflows to support operational activities across the premium subscription platforms.
  • Gather and document technical specifications for partner integrations and Fuse products.
  • Works with VP on distribution & product management to apply day-to-day workflow to technical requirements for new partner and vendor evaluations.
  • Oversee maintenance, integration and QC testing across digital platforms and new product launches.
  • Assist with vendor & partner evaluations and management.
  • Manage video content coordinators to confirm content processing and delivery.
  • Support all non-linear platforms including, but not limited to: Fuse.tv, Fuse+ apps, FAST channels and distribution platforms.
  • Conduct regular product audits across various platforms for accurate content curation and product consistency.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks to processes, facilitating resolution internally.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in content operations with a background in project/website management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent related work experience required.
  • Working knowledge of creative media and all things metadata and asset management required.
  • Exceptional at achieving time-sensitive production goals while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience managing output-focused operations, production measurement and workflow optimization.
  • Experience implementing and documenting content operations work models and production schedules.
  • Adaptable, excellent communicator, and solutions oriented.
  • Ability to operate independently, balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a results-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with VOD, TVOD, AVOD, SVOD & FAST channels strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing websites, mobile and TV apps using a CMS is ideal.
  • Experience using MS Office, Google Workspace, Photoshop, YouTube & Social Media platforms, FTP, WordPress, Asana, Wrike, Trello or similar Tools.
  • CSS, XML or web development experience a major plus.


SALARY RANGE

  • $80,000 - $90,000 annually (DOE)
