We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager - Civil Engineering Services to join our fast-paced team. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of skilled engineers and contribute to the development of significant engineering projects. As a Permanent Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Job Details

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of civil engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Lead the design and planning of complex civil engineering projects, including infrastructure, transportation, and site development.
• Ensure all designs and plans are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure the proper implementation of design plans.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring all resources are utilized efficiently.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
• Continually review and improve engineering processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing effective solutions.
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and clients.
  
  

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A master’s degree would be a plus.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site design.
• Proven experience managing and leading a team of engineers.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to overcome project challenges effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• A professional engineering (PE) license is required.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
