As the Manager,Career Development your main goal is to execute the objectives of the Rebuilding Careers Select Service program that includes developing curriculum and executing workforce readiness workshops, booking and facilitating workshop series with outside community partners and internal clients and coordinating professional wardrobing events.
The Career Development Manager will collaborate with the Client Services Director and other members of the Client Services team to establish a workshop calendar that includes events in-person, off-site, online and in correctional facilities. The Career Development Manager will lead a team of contracted Workshop Facilitators, volunteers and work with the Wardrobe Specialist to reach program goals. Clients participating in workshops include individuals young adults & first time job seekers, justice involved, veterans, seniors and others overcoming barriers to employment.
What You'll Do
Create and execute achievable strategic goals as a team leader with 3 direct reports (2 Contract Workshop Facilitators (PT) and 1 Wardrobe Specialist) and volunteer facilitators as needed.
Provide oversight of the Wardrobe Center and the delivery of Professional Wardrobe services to maximize revenue potential through the expansion of wardrobe MOUs with community partners.
Create and manage the workshop event calendar through the scheduling of workshops and wardrobe events for both external and internal clients.
Update and develop workforce readiness curriculum including by not limited to visual presentations, participant handouts, trainer guides using multiple forms of medium.
Facilitate workforce readiness workshops in person and virtually, including an 8-part series in Theo Lacy correctional facility.
Strategically monitor workforce trends and high-demand industry skills to guide and implement team adjustments and initiatives
Increase the visibility of our organization and services by expanding our footprint in the community through outreach to existing and new partner agencies.
Deepen your understanding of outside resources and serve as an ongoing advocate for our clients in need of additional social services.

Proficient in automated tracking systems and recruiting software
Top-notch computer skills, particularly with, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, LinkedIn, Canva
Knowledge of Calendly, Casebook, and other learning platforms or design software is a plus
Good driving record with a reliable vehicle
Willing to travel locally (20% of the time) to meet clients and community partners
